Why is Samantha in Stitches different? 

Samantha in Stitches as a philosophy we believe to be unique even amongst independent crafters. That philosophy can be summed up in two words: Handmade and Unique. 

About our dyeing

With the exception of custom orders, our yarns are dyed in batches of 4-7 hanks. The result is batches of entirely unique yarn. While on occasion I will attempt to get a colourway similar to a previous, the results cannot be said to be even close enough as to be called dyelots. I DO NOT keep recipies, I DO NOT carefully measure. I tried dyeing this way and I felt it completely stiffled my creativity. Therefore, I made the decision to dye from the heart. I may not be able to reproduce a colourway exactly but I can promise that each hank of yarn I dye is a work of art that I put special effort into making unique. 

Everything we sell comes from our hearts and our hands, with maybe the exception of our T-Shirts, which we do have printed, but we promise the designs are all ours.
